Responsible for the successful execution of project outage / maintenance work scope for assigned location. Create zero injury safety culture, and communicate DZNPS core values and culture. Interface with all levels of Client and Site Management. Mentor personnel and subcontractors to develop a zero injury culture and full compliance with DZNPS safety manual. Manage the contract and client interface with representatives. Manage all aspects of the contract/scope of work and all changes through proper change process.


GENERAL DUTIES:

Responsible for policy administration and contract implementation, profitability, and satisfactory execution of the assigned work and tasks, as specified by the approved contract documents. Ensure that the highest degree of employee and plant safety and quality standards are met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for the safety and well being of assigned personnel, including an effective employee relations program. Responsible for the successful implementation of the DZNPS Safety Manual.
2. Responsible for assuring those operations are conducted in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct and the laws that govern operation. Takes a lead role in corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality and ethical standards. Serves as a role model and actively fosters employee awareness of and commitment to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
3. Responsible for employee development relative to skills and company growth goals, and actively participates in periodic and annual employee reviews and appraisals.
4. Responsible for meeting the obligations of the contract and Client satisfaction.
5. Responsible for the successful implementation of the Project Quality Assurance/Control Program.
6. Represents the company on project related matters with the Client as well as local government, Union and civic organizations.
7. Participates with DZNPS managers/supervisors and the Client to define and interpret scope and objectives of the project including the approval of requisitions for personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
8. Monitors scope, scope changes, budgets, and schedules to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved.
9. Participates with DZNPS management/supervisors and the Client to identify and resolve problem areas, revisions and modifications to the Project.
10. Continually strives for better and more economical methods relative to performance of the work.
11. Assigns, guides, delegates and personally engages in investigational work to determine the adequacy of the various aspects of the project. Performs inspections of work in progress to assess status and resolve problems.
12. Ensures preparation of contract amendments to address Craft Union contract changes. Maintains Craft and Staff billing rates in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
13. Reviews insurance and Worker’s Compensation claim requirements. Process claims, monitor claim progress and maintains documentation.
14. Directs Document Control activities to ensure compliance with Quality, Client, and Regulatory requirements.
15. Develops / revises field procedures as required.

EDUCATION:

College Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 10 years experience in the Maintenance / Modification environment. Prior supervisory experience required.
