We are in need of an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager at Amarillo, TX.

Candidate Work Requirements:
-Shall be responsible for the development of a draft project plan, initiate a formal review and finalize the project plan.
-Shall be responsible for managing all phases of the project, including Concept, Assess, Define, Execute, & Close.
-Shall be responsible for gathering and tracking progress, maintaining meeting notes, project schedules and presenting weekly status of the project activities to the Subcontract Technical Representative prior to release for physical implementation.
-Shall be responsible for reporting project performance and issues to IT Management.
-Shall be responsible for managing several technical projects at a time.
-May be required to make adjustments to the plan (e.g. budget, schedule, scope, etc.) to accommodate changing requirements prior to proceeding to the next phase of the project.
-Shall be required to meet site Occupational Medicine Requirements.
-May be required to have a physical performed by site Occupational Medicine Department.
-Shall be required to participate in site provided training.

Candidate Qualifications:
-Shall be a U.S. Citizen
-Must have at least five (5) years prior experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of technical personnel toward the completion of various technical project goals and objectives.
-Shall have the ability to identify and estimate resources required to support project schedules.
-Shall have in-depth knowledge of computing technology architecture – including hardware, software, client, and server components.
-Must have an active DOE Q or L Level clearance or DOE equivalent that may be transferred to a DOE Q level or DOE L level before coming on-site. Consideration will be given to a candidate who has had a DOE Q level clearance within the past 5 months.
-Shall be proficient with common project management tracking tools, with preference given to proficiency in Primavera Project Manager Version 3 or above.
-Should have certification as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
-Must undergo and pass a preliminary background investigation.

Other:
-Maximum two (2) year contract.
-Per diem
