One of our clients, a Commercial Nuclear Power Plant has an urgent need for a Lead Environmental Specialist. This company is well known for its great working culture, beautiful location and excellent compensation. This “contract assignment” is estimated to last one year in length with possibility of extension for a top performer. This is a highly visible position as you will provide environmental leadership for multiple nuclear facilities.
As a Lead Environmental Specialist you will be responsible for resolving environmental issues for the NRC new cite review process. Additionally, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of environmental permits, licensing and safety requirements.
The qualified candidate for Lead Environmental Specialist must have…
- 7 or more years in environmental support for power generation.
- Experience with COLA applications.
- Familiar with FSAR and REMP's pertaining to environmental issues.
- Experience interfacing with the NRC
- Bachelors Degree
