Weirich Consulting Services, Inc. has an urgent need for a Sr. Drafting Specialist, one year assignment

Location: Brookhaven National Lab.

Job Description: A Sr. Drafting Specialist who will be doing design tasks for PCB design and schematics for various electrical systems used in NSLS II. The candidate will report to the Electrical Design Supervisor for NSLS II.

Qualifications Required: AAS degree in electronic technology, electrical drawing, or equivalent and 6 years experience in the design of high density multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) and schematic capture. Candidate should have a demonstrated skill in designing precision analog, RF, and high speed digital layouts using PCB design software packages.

Qualifications Preferred: Candidates having proficiency with DxDesigner and PADS version 9.1 software will be given preference. AutoDesk Inventor 9+ experience is also desired. Good interpersonal skills and strong self-motivation is required.
