QA Engineers / Ld. Auditors; Enserv, Inc. has immediate openings for Quality Assurance Engineers and Lead Auditors at Savannah River Site. Job specifics and qualification criteria are as follows:

POSITION TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER/LEAD AUDITOR

DUTIES: Provide Quality Assurance oversight and audit support the Site Quality Services
organization at Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC

1. Perform Quality Assurance oversight by conducting, reporting and documenting results of
both internal and external audits, assessments, and reviews of quality related activities as
assigned. Oversight will include ASME NQA-1 related activities in accordance with Site
programs and procedures. Basic computer and report writing skills are necessary for these
activities.
2. Assist in the review of manuals, procedures, reports, and checklists, as well as, procurement
documents and reports related to quality assurance requirements.
3. Perform Lead Auditor activities including the preparation, performance and reporting both
internal and external audits in accordance with SRNS quality procedures.
4. Analyze process and problem data and information for trends and developing issues; advise
or recommend appropriate actions to Quality management.
5. Evaluate proposed corrective actions to issues to determine if they adequately address the
related issue and the identified causes, and perform corrective action verification as
requested.
6. Maintain professional Lead Auditor certification and required training.
7. Perform other activities related to the evaluation and implementation of work activities as
directed by the Site QA/QC Services Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BS Degree in Engineering/Science with a minimum of two (2) years of Quality
Assurance auditing experience in accordance with NQA-1 requirements. Lead Auditor
certification is required. OR
Non-Technical degree with a minimum of three (3) years of Quality Assurance auditing
experience in accordance with ASME NQA-1 requirements. Lead Auditor certification required. OR
Non-degreed with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in an operations,
maintenance, construction or manufacturing environment, of which a minimum of five (5) years
of Quality Assurance auditing experience in accordance with ASME NQA-1 requirements. Lead
Auditor certification required.
For Lead Auditors submitted for approval by SRNS to perform Supplier Qualification audits, the
candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years experience performing vendor qualification
audits and be available for travel.
The subcontractor shall provide certification packages as supporting documentation prior to
starting work.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
„h Practical knowledge of an NQA-1, Quality Assurance Program.
„h Experience in the development, review and issuance of procedures.
„h Demonstrated knowledge of DOE operating policies, rules, and regulations preferred.
„h Commercial Grade Dedication experience is desired.

WORK HOURS:
A 40 hour work week will be required to support quality assurance activities. Savannah River Site utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10
hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (four 9 hours/days and one 8 hour/day on week
A and four 9 hours/days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays.

AREA SECURITY ACCESS:
U.S. Citizen.
Must pass SRNS drug and alcohol screening and have had no previous record of drug or alcohol-related convictions.
A security clearance is not required.
