MATRIX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in our corporate finance department. You will maintain clerical responsibilities of data entry and building of invoices.  You will ensure best practices, strive for accuracy and efficiency, and ensure continuity in the timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. 

The primary work location will be in a remote environment. 

The Finance Assistant position is office or nonmanual work. 
Complete data entry. 
Perform weekly file recording processes for Accounts Receivable. 
Monitor emails. 
Perform audits of records as requested. 
Meet with the Finance Team. 
Maintains basic financial records and files. 
The ability to communicate well with customers and other MATRIX and customer/client and employees. 
Responds to all verbal and written communication in a timely and professional manner. 
The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision. 
Use “lessons learned” or a reflective practice mindset to improve quality of MATRIX’s future projects; make recommendations to MATRIX as to the implementations of future policies and procedures. 
Other duties as assigned.
