This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse's Shoreview, MN facility in Greater Minneapolis, MN. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity. Your Day-to-Day:

• Ensure the workplace is safe and employees are committed to a safety conscience work environment.
• Manage teams of employees within multiple areas of responsibility and ensures policies, processes and procedures are understood and followed by all direct reports.
• Ensures manufacturing procedures and job guides are maintained to align with current higher-level requirements and shop practices.
• Maintain operational excellence through meeting commitments, continuous improvement, having qualified resources and by managing spending.
• Supports the creation and maintenance of manufacturing schedules; coordinate and manage manufacturing activities to meet all manufacturing and shipping milestones.
• Ensures proper resources are available to address future demand in all manufacturing disciplines, including future hiring plans.
• Manages and maintain a 5year manufacturing and facility strategy, including capital funding, yearly budgets and resources needs.
• Ensure the facilities and equipment are maintained regularly and improvements are strategical planned and aligned with the Sites 5year business plan.
• Initiate process improvements to reduce manufacturing cost and product cost, which helps in maintaining our competitive position in the FHE market.
• Coordinate manufacturing efforts by working closely with support functions and work with other Westinghouse manufacturing sites to route manufacturing work between sites to optimize cost and improve utilization.
• Represent management during frequent customer and regulator audits and inquiries.
• Provide administrative, technical, management and leadership guidance and direction to subordinate functions to ensure achievement of department, plant, division, and company objectives.
• Support Safety and Environmental Committee action implementation into facility.

• 5+ years leading a team and/or manufacturing experience.
• Preferred, a basic understanding of the FHE assembly process.
• Proficient with SAP
