If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical & Fluid Systems Engineer 2, at our Cranberry Township, PA, US location (Hybrid work arrangement available). This position has no relocation assitance available. Your Day-to-Day:

  • Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design and analysis for mega-projects or advanced reactors.
  • Develop pump, valve, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications.
  • Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assigned
  • Support more senior engineering personnel in various design and analysis efforts
  • Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management
  • Collaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations project teams with internal and/or external representation
  • Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings as needed to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs
  • Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA - Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Experience with MathCad, MATLAB, or VBA
- Familiarity with testing and testing analysis
- Familiarity with the nuclear power plant designs for operating PWR and BWRs or advanced reactors or AP1000.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software Suite
- Engineer in Training Certification or Professional Engineer License is preferable
- Ability to travel to Westinghouse or Customer site 20-50% Desired Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong time management skills (Working to a deadline while balancing multiple tasks).
- Be able to resolve complex problems.
- Be detail oriented.
