A Talascend client supporting projects in Los Alamos, NM has a need for Health & Safety Techs for a 7-8 month project.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
4-6 years of related experience; especially with sampling IH migrations & understanding PPE requirements
Associates degree would be nice to have
US Citizen
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support to line managers and facility personnel by assisting health and safety professionals with collection of personnel air samples, swipe and bulk sampling, area sampling, real-time sampling, and inspection of areas or review of operations to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. T
Provides technical support associated with the recognition, measurement, evaluation, and control of potential health and safety hazards, or the manipulation of data associated with those hazards.
Assists with facilitating implementation of health and safety requirements. Work may include field, laboratory, and/or data management activities. 
Applies extensive knowledge and skills to complete specialized tasks and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
Comprehensive understanding of general and technical aspects of the job. 
Some responsibility for coordination and participation in developing the final product working with the requestor.
Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity, creativity, and independence.
