[Civil Engineer] Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer

The Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for providing engineering guidance, calculations, analysis, studies, and recommendations for the geotechnical needs segment of engineering within the schedule and budget of an assigned project. Additional responsibilities may be assigned according to the company's needs, project, or contract. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to, an advanced level of engineering understanding of the principles of soil and rock mechanics, including but not limited to earth embankment excavation cuts and retaining walls. All other structures interacting with the subsoil, as well as knowledge of erosion/sediment control and understanding and knowledge of geotechnical computer software necessary for the discipline, including 2D & 3D CADD, utilize MicroStation or AutoCAD software.

PE license and DOE experience preferred.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year accredited

College or university with 10+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering.

Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
