Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a DOE Integrated Safety Management Program Support opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site.

Title: DOE Integrated Safety Management Program Support

Work Location: Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy government offices, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.

SCOPE OF WORK
The United States Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford require consultation and program support focused on implementation of the DOE Hanford Integrated Safety Management programs.

Provide implementation support for the effective and efficient implementation of the DOE
Hanford Integrated Safety Management programs.
Assist in the improvement, implementation and oversight of DOE Hanford Integrated Safety
Management program processes, performance indicators and effectiveness.
Provide support to DOE and Hanford site wide committees/forums established for the improvement of DOE and Contractor Integrated Safety Management programs.
Develop schedules, white papers, position papers, research documentation, and assessment reports, as requested.
Assist in the development of training materials and presentation of training and briefings to
DOE and contractor management and staff.
Assist DOE continuous improvement efforts, as assigned.

Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established
criteria. The Contractor shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner.
The Contractor employee shall submit a weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work
accomplished, and deliverable progress.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or sufficient experience to provide a similar base of knowledge.
Substantial experience as an interpretive authority and subject matter expert for Integrated Safety Management requirements in a professional environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in development, review, and technical editing of Integrated Safety Management information.
Experience in developing and leading improvement, implementing change management, and effecting cultural changes within DOE program frameworks.
Substantial working knowledge of DOE EM missions and activities.
Experience in developing and implementing change to gain efficiencies and effectiveness within DOE program frameworks.
Substantial experience in Integrated Safety Management programs implementation, related projects management.
Experience in developing Integrated Safety Management business intelligence information such as key performance indicators designed to monitor or assess the effectiveness of performance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
U.S. Citizenship.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Experience in leading assessments to determine compliance and performance.
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with management and technical subject matter experts at all levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and independently effectively present training material and briefings to all levels of DOE and contractor organizations.
Proficiency in the use of business/technical writing.
Excellent personal and professional communications skills.

Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and unique qualifications, and may range between $130K to $230K annually. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and a pre-tax 401 (k) retirement account with Company matching contributions.
