URS is currently seeking Electrical Technicians.

This is not an electronic technician position; this is electrical technician position to work on building and infrastructure systems, not equipment. Ideal candidates will have Air Force Base facility maintenance experience.

Location: Al Udied Air Base - QATAR

One year deployment, single status.

Projected deployment date: Mid October, 2009

Requirements:
• MUST HAVE ACTIVE TOP SECRET Department of Defense SECURITY CLEARANCE - - please do not apply if you do not have and ACTIVE TOP SECRET Clearance.
• High school diploma or GED and specific training/thorough knowledge in the areas of electrical maintenance and installation, plus a broad knowledge of other disciplines such as general math, geometry, electronics, etc.
• At least five years of job related experience. Military maintenance/defense maintenance contracting experience preferred but not required.
• (Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for two years of job-related experience.) Good written and spoken communication and analytical skills and a working knowledge of basic computer systems and software programs.
• Must be physically fit and able to travel and work overseas in a harsh, desert environment.
