Contract / Temp to Perm / Permanent: Contract

URS is currently seeking a STAFF PAVEMENT ENGINEER - AIRFIELD DESIGN.
One year deployment, single status

Location: Balad Air Base, Iraq

Requirements:
• US Citizenship - AND "Clearable"- National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) OR by possessing an active U.S. security clearance.
• Physically fit and able to travel and work overseas in a harsh, desert environment.
• Bachelor of science degrees in civil engineering from an accredited university AND have a minimum of 5 years design experience with flexible (asphalt) and rigid (concrete) pavements.
• This includes knowledge of soils, hydraulics, and material properties. The engineer shall design new pavement projects as well as rehabilitation and maintenance of existing pavements.
