URS is currently seeking a MECHANICAL ENGINEER.

This is a contingent position dependent upon the award of a contract.

One year deployment, single status

Location: Balad Air Base, Iraq

Requirements:
• *US Citizen
• *"Clearable"- US CITIZEN and a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) OR by possessing an active U.S. security clearance.
• Physically fit and able to travel and work overseas in a harsh, desert environment.
• A bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university and a minimum of 5 years DESIGN experience are required for this position.
• Capable of providing mechanical design service including determination of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) loads, equipment selection, duct sizing and routing, and interior plumbing design.
• Must have the capability to perform basic functions (eg., manipulate drawings, site/floor plans) in AutoCAD.
