URS is currently seeking a COMMUNITY PLANNER - AIR FIELD DESIGN.

This is a contingent position dependent upon the award of a contract.

One year deployment, single status

Location: Balad Air Base, Iraq

Requirements:
• AIR FORCE - AIR FIELD DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
• US Citizen AND "Clearable"- National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) OR by possessing an active U.S. security clearance.
• Physically fit and able to travel and work overseas in a harsh, desert environment.
• Able to provide comprehensive design oversight for both the Army Logistics Support Area - Anaconda and the Balad Air Base Senior Airfield Authority areas of responsibility.
• He or she shall have a minimum of 5 years of Air Force community planning experience and be capable of developing site plan packages for future Air Force construction and coordination with all required base agencies.
• Also, the Community Planner must be fluent with all airfield design and construction criteria as detailed in applicable Air Force Instructions and the Unified Facility Code.
