URS is currently seeking a DRAFTSPERSON & SURVEYOR.
This is a contingent position dependent upon the award of a contract.

One year deployment, single status

Location: Balad Air Base, Iraq

Requirements:
• US Citizen AND "Clearable"- National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) OR by possessing an active U.S. security clearance.
• Physically fit and able to travel and work overseas in a harsh, desert environment.
• Diploma from a Technical school in CADD/Drafting - ASSOCIATES Degree in Engineering preferred.
• 5 years minimum experience. Capability with 2D and/or 3D plant design.
• Under minimal supervision able to develop engineering drawings of moderate complexity.
Basic Knowledge of the use of requisitions and the role of material management.
• Understands the process of preparing designs and drawings in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures
