I have a contract job that is local Function as a Sr Pipe Support Engineer for the Pueblo chemical Project reporting to the Plant Design Engineering Group Supervisor. Please send me your resume. It is an estimated 3 month assignment. They are hiring immediately. This position is still available.

Work Location: Pueblo, CO , Unescorted access to the Chemical Limited Area candidate must successfully clear National Agency Check (NAC); All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment. Must be physically fit and able to work safely at a construction site.

Based on project goals and objectives, candidates established within our local community are desirable

Candidate will be capable of locating and designing supports for various piping systems, performing calculations to verify support design. The design will also include interfacing with structural steel designers, piping designers, and pipe support checker. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of design and draftiningtechniques, engineering drawings, 3D skills are requested but not limited to"

-Skill in reading, interpreting and using related documents prepared by other project groups-Knowledge of the application of engineering and pipe support hardware- Basic knowledge of industry standards (i.e. ASIC & B31.3), design criteria and relative codes

Knowledge of processes used in the preparation of pipe support structural calculations-General knowledge of the technical responsibilities of other groups associated with the total design effort.-Plant design experience in design of supports based on stress analysis and pre-established stress criteria.

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree with 10 plus years of related experience in developing pipe support calculations. Previous experience with ME150/FAPPS is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with Microstation and/or Pipe Support Modeler Previous Bechtel and or DOD or DOE project experience.

Work schedule: Monday-Thursday with 30min lunch. Work hours 6:30am-5:00pm working overtime may be required. All overtime must have prior approval.

Employee is authorized Per Diem in the amount of $70 for lodging (receipts required) and $39 for meals and incidentals (M&I) for up to 60 days or until long-term lodging has been established, whichever comes first

Per Diem is reduced to 75% after 60 days or until the long-term lodging has been found-$52.50 for lodging and $29.25 for M&I
