The Maintenance Planning Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for supervising all maintenance activities associated with the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) of the plant. This person is responsible for Supervising 3 Planners and leading the Maintenance strategy for all Repairs, Preventative, and Predictive Maintenance activities for all disciplines of the plant. This person will work to build and continually improve the (CMMS) into a reliable and efficient system. This person will promote quality maintenance procedures, upkeep accurate maintenance technical information for all equipment including maintenance history, and capture key performance indicators for proper planning and scheduling. The position will be supporting the Longview Power plant Start-Up / Commissioning, Maintenance and Operational readiness of the Coal Fired Super-Critical Power Block, including but not limited to Fuel Systems, Ash Handling, Scrubber System, Steam Turbine Generator, Auxiliary Equipment, Boiler and Auxiliaries, Mills, Crushers, and other plant equipment.

Supervise extensive planning for Long term and short term outages.

Develop specifications for work packages, including safe and efficient implementation.

Supervise 3 Maintenance Planners for system input and output implementation and work package development.

Supervise data entry for parts, repairs, work order completion, and other items.

Work extensively with all departments to ensure reliability & efficiency of system.

Supervise work packages for implementation, tracking, and completion.

Monitor equipment Technical Information for key maintenance & operational changes.

Establish, maintain, and improve the planning and business flow process.

Be competent in Root Cause Analysis for leadership and investigation.

Survey work areas, personnel, and other items for continuous improvements.

Ensure all personnel follow Plant Safety Rules at all times.

Assist in evaluation of all employees per plant policy.

Develop training programs for Lower Level Employees to advance and/or improve.

Determine training needs for employees regarding CMMS and planning.

Represent Owner's best interest at all times.

Supervise detailed preventive and predictive maintenance procedures for plant mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, environmental, and control equipment.

Ensure system and/or component changes are implemented in the CMMS to keep the system and activities current.

Comply with plant policy and procedures, in particular, those involving personnel and equipment safety.

Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Responsibly operate site vehicles; valid driver's license is required.

BA in the Industrial Maintenance field or 5 years related experience. Must have Primavera or MS Projects and Excel experience.
