****MUST HAVE OIL/GAS EXP.****

SUMMARY
The EHS Field Coordinator is primarily responsible for assuring environmental, health, & safety compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout clients Eastern Field Operations primarily in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Manage various environmental field projects geared toward regulatory compliance and maintain all applicable records;
2. Conduct environmental audits, inspections (including storm water), and investigations of violations as required and make recommendations based on findings;
3. Maintain Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and compliance with SPCC program;
4. Maintain knowledge of new environmental regulations and standards as they are introduced and/or change within the oil & gas industry;
5. Evaluate the effectiveness of clients environmental programs and procedures based on field operations, implementation of these programs and procedures, and contractor compliance of same;
6. Participate in EHS Incident Investigations and assure corrective actions to minimize or prevent similar future incidents;
7. Act as a liaison between clients management, field personnel, and contractors to enhance regulatory compliance initiatives regarding eastern oil & gas field operations;
8. Conduct or facilitate training for management, field employees, and contractors regarding applicable environmental programs and procedures as directed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Motivated self-starter;
2. Abilities of self-sufficiency and flexibility to work in a growing and evolving function;
3. Thorough knowledge of EHS regulatory standards and compliance;
4. Strong personable skills to work with internal employees, external contractors, other oil and gas company representatives, as well as state and local regulators;
5. Clarity of communication, both written and oral;
6. Strong presentation and project management skills;
7. Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities of other personnel associated with this position within the client corp;
2. Supervisory responsibilities will sometimes be required of external contractors.

WORKING CONDITIONS

1. 50% office environment 50% field environment;
2. Travel between field offices and various oil & gas field operations as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. BS Degree in Safety/Environmental Sciences, Geology, Geological Engineering or other related field of study is preferable;
2. Minimum of 5 years experience working within a similar capacity in the oil & gas industry.
