Job Description:
This position will play an important role in the product development, specifications, production, quality control, sales support, and customer satisfaction for Asphalt & Heavy Oil Marketing. They will be responsible for the following job duties:
1. Project Coordinator for internal customers in Refining, Terminal Transport & Marine, and Marketing & Transportation Engineering.
2. Technical Expert in various asphalt products and binder types, applications and use, modification techniques, chemistry and performance.
3. Product and Technical Representative in the marketplace for customer satisfaction concerning product specification, performance and product advantages supporting the heavy oil products sales effort.
4. Product Quality Professional responsible for quality control standards and procedures to ensure the manufacture of quality asphalt and heavy oil products from the refinery or terminal source through the transportation and distribution systems.
5. Technical Representative to governmental agencies and industry work groups responsible for asphalt products and heavy oil standards, specifications and applications.
6. Business Partner with TT&M for operational oversight to ensure company compliance with required procedures in order maintain approved supplier status.
7. Strategic Leader able to identify marketplace developments and commercial opportunities that will leverage our strengths in the marketplace and capitalize them with returns.
8. Strategic Coordinator for product development and research studies to ensure that quality standards are achieved and maintained in a cost

This will be a first shift position with limited travel. This position is open due to growth.

They need to have 5 plus years of experience as a Asphalt Technologist Specialist. A BS in Engineering, or Chemistry is required.
