Headway Engineering Resources is currently seeking Schedulers (P6 and Microsoft Project experience required) for 2 contract positions, one in Raleigh, NC and one in St. Pete, FL.

Job Summary:
Reports directly to the Manager of Project Controls, but will assist Project and Construction Management on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities: development of EPC Program and Project Schedules, review of contractor schedules including duration, resource; logic analysis, development and maintenance of PCD Master Schedule. Experience in Combined Cycle, Transmission and Substation operations, systems turnover and start-up is preferred. This position will also be responsible for assisting with various project related technical activities, and other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by the organization. Potential for extended stays at project locations. Opportunity to help develop policies, procedures and analysis techniques that will enable the successful project controls management of major construction work within the Company. The work results for this position will be tangible and visible to both the section and the department. Applicants should have solid spreadsheet skills, and good written and communication skills. Ability to operate in a team environment. P6 and Microsoft Project experience is required. Fully competent in use of both principles and application. Works independently on tasks/projects with limited supervision. Receives guidance only on unusual or complex projects or issues. Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action for resolution. Requires Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years professional experience, or a two year degree and 7 plus years professional experience, or 9 plus years of professional experience.
