NAES Staffing Services is looking for a Certified Safety Officer to work in Warsaw, NC on a 8-week contract position. Certified Safety Officer credentials are a requirement for this position. ```Job Summary:```
As a Safety Manager, you'll lead the development and implementation of comprehensive safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. You'll coordinate safety training, conduct regular meetings, and drive a culture of safety consciousness. Additionally, you'll respond to incidents, investigate root causes, maintain records, oversee compliance documentation, conduct inspections, and promote continuous improvement through collaborative efforts and active participation in safety committees.

Description:
Review all Safety Procedures for OSHA compliance and determine if any additional forms or equipment is required by the plant staff to be able to successfully execute the safety procedures.
Conduct Confined Space audit.
Support Red Tag Pro setup and assist in determining 10-20 equipment isolation procedures so that the plant staff can use as examples.
Be aware the facility is a PSM site, and engage if necessary/helpful.
Support Plant Manager as acting site safety officer.

```Responsibilities:```

The facility is PSM and a HAZOP is just beginning by Moody Engineering.  Be aware of the PSM, engage if necessary/helpful.
Support Plant Manager as acting site safety officer.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation laws
- Strong understanding of training development principles
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis investigations
