Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) required.
• Requires 15 - 20+ years minimum experience in Civil/Structural engineering related to the new construction and / or retrofit of heavy industrial facilities and hydro-dam balance of plant projects.
• Detailed knowledge and use of engineering design principles, competent in structural steel and concrete design
• Proficiency with structural codes (AISC Design Manual, ASCE 7, and ACI 318), standards, and industry methodologies
• STAAD, PCA MATS, ANSYS is a plus.
• MathCAD or Excel and AutoCAD
• Experience issuing project specifications and working with a designer to create design drawings.
• Performing calculations on industrial structures
• Pipe support structures.
• Platform layout designs and calculations
• Hydro infrastructure equipment supports.
• Designing shallow footing and deep foundation calculations to support tanks and other large equipment such as pumps, transformers, etc.
