Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer 2/ Electrical Engineer SR (with ten years experience) to fill an five- year assignment in the Birmingham area.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer 2

Work Location: Birmingham, AL/hybrid
Pay rate: $68.00 and per diem if qualified.

Requirements:

Degreed Engineer with 10+ Years of Experience, Masters Degree preferred.
Candidate will work in a hybrid work arrangement reporting in-person/in-office at least 3 days per week (12 days a month).
Some overnight travel may be required but this is not extensive.
Specialization in Power Systems desired.
Experience with computer programming (Python, C#, SQL) desired.
Emphasis on power system analysis
Knowledge of databases, data structures, computer networking is desirable as well as an aptitude to apply engineering analysis to solve problems.
Develop research plan to evaluate new technology.
Manage multiple tasks at one time.
Provide documentation of study assumptions and methods used to arrive at results.
Provide informative reports and presentations on projects.
Must possess analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have the ability to manage your own work schedule and work with limited direction.
