Precision Resource Company is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to be based out of Atlanta, GA. This is a 3 month contract opportunity with the option to renew offering:
*Competitive Hourly rate

This position is responsible for performing as-builts and electrical design on retrofit projects at fossil fired generating plants. Travel to the plants is required.

Requirements:
• 10 years of experience in Power Plant, Paper Mill, Steel Mill, or similar industry
• Detailed knowledge of design principles (preferably power plant electrical system design)
• Design experience in equipment arrangements, cable tray/conduit layout
• Design experience with Cable Bus sizing and routing, cable sizing, voltage drop, raceway fill
• Detailed knowledge of wiring design principles (preferably power plant electrical system design)
• Design experience with control panel layout and wiring
• AutoCAD 2D required
• AutoCAD Overlay preferred
• Able to effectively plan, organize, and execute their work.
• The individual should be able to handle design with minimal to no supervision

Significant amount of travel to generation plants
