We are currently seeking candidates to join our team to work as an Electrical Field Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a large nation-wide company and grow within a company. This is a long term opportunity in the San Diego County area. Will be working on high voltage equipment including transformers, switchgears, relays, and power meters.

This position will require one to troubleshoot, test, and inspect complex electrical power systems. Will require some travel within the county. We are seeking someone who can work on their own and requires limited supervision.

Seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Performing testing procedures to electrical power systems including instrumentation, transformers, generators, power meters and high voltage equipment.
- Must be familiar with working with high voltages.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and calibrate switchgears, power loads and circuit breakers.
- Will be working with complex electrical systems, relay systems and power metering.
- Must be able to maintain strong relationships and communicate with sales support.
- Must understand National Electrical Code
- Should have familiarity with working up to 230kV

Must have a BS/BA in Engineering or a related field or comperable experience.
