Client involved with high voltage Transmission Line & Substation EPC projects is looking for a Project Manager to manage the overall administrative & construction efforts on overhead transmission line projects in New Jersey. Per diem provided for candidates not local.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall administrative and technical direction for multiple high t-line EPC projects
• Directs, coordinates, and manages activities of several disciplines (permitting, engineering, procurement, project controls, construction, testing) for t-line projects (upgrade and new green field scopes of work)
• Initiate or assist in contract negotiations for materials and field services
• Direct coordination with clients and other stakeholders
• Responsible for the overall management of the substation portion of projects, including but not limited to, safety, quality, schedule, and cost
• Assist in direction of project planning, staffing, budgeting, and establishing critical project objectives

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering, project management & construction experience related to power generation, T&D or similar heavy industrial construction projects
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on transmission line EPC projects
• Specific experience with 69kV or higher is needed...230kV or higher would be a PLUS
• You need a BS degree in Engineering
• A PE license would be a PLUS
