Job Description:

Planet Forward is seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent with a strong solar background for one of our key clients. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in the industry, a deep understanding of NEXTracker systems, exposure to utility-scale projects, and a solid electrical background. This role will play a crucial part in leading and managing the electrical team on our client's solar projects.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all aspects of electrical installation on solar projects.
Oversee the installation of NEXTracker systems and ensure their proper functioning.
Coordinate with project management teams to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement safety protocols.
Review and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
Train and mentor junior team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical guidance.
Report on project progress and escalate issues as necessary.
Participate in project planning and contribute to electrical design decisions.
Qualifications:

10-15 years of experience in the solar industry with a focus on electrical systems.
Proven experience with NEXTracker systems.
Exposure to utility-scale solar projects.
Broad knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety protocols.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
