Primary purpose of role
The Component Design Engineer is responsible for the creation of a component design definition that meets the given sub-system requirements and product attributes. The Component Design Engineer shall create solutions that are robust against variation, taking account the appropriate form, fit, and function.

Key responsibilities and deliverables (max 6)
As a Combustion and Casings Component Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
• Designing hardware to meet customer requirements and industry/RR standards
• Supporting supply chain efforts to procure hardware from multiple suppliers
• Assessing hardware from rig/engine testing or field service
• Completing dimensional tolerance stacks and G,D&T calculations
• · Providing engineering support of development and/or service related hardware issues
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 4+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or
• JD/PhD
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
