[Electrical Engineer] Aircraft Systems - Electrical Engineer

Johnson Service Group has an opportunity for an aircraft systems Electrical Engineer located in Atlanta, GA 30354.

Contract duration: 12 months+

Qualifications:

3+ years of engineering (troubleshooting aircraft systems) experience.
3+ years of experience providing engineering support for line aircraft and live aircraft operations.
2+ years of specific experience in the design and analysis of aircraft structural repairs. (Systems/electrical engineering experience can be substituted for structural experience for this role.)
Previous experience with one or more of the following systems: pneumatics, hydraulics, air conditioning, landing gear, water/waste, avionics, cabin furnishings
Education: Four-year accredited undergraduate engineering degree (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) required (On a case-by-case basis, consideration for experience can replace an engineering degree)
Possess the ability to create substantiation reports in support of aircraft airworthiness.
Should be able to comprehend and be knowledgeable in FAA regulations.
Should possess a thorough understanding of maintenance requirements, processes, and procedures.
Strong background in repair analysis and troubleshooting.
Previous liaison engineering or MRB experience Line Liaison Engineering (3 Positions-Aerospace, Mechanical Systems, Electrical)
Previous experience with troubleshooting systems
Knowledge in navigating and understanding OEM standard wiring practice manuals.
Previous experience with OEM wiring drawings.
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD (Solid Works or similar CAD software).
Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
Previous ODA (Organization Designation Authorization) and/or DER (Designated Engineering Representative) type of experience is desired

Top 3 skills needed:
Previous experience with troubleshooting systems
Knowledge in navigating and understanding OEM standard wiring practice manuals.
Previous experience with OEM wiring drawings.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, design and production of repair, modification, process and inspection documentation in support of worldwide maintenance activities as a Liaison Engineer.
Evaluate and interpret AD, FAR, and policy requirements to ensure compliance in the engineering documentation.
Aid in analyzing and correcting problems which hamper the maintenance support activities.
Understand airline operations and pace while providing solutions for a safe aircraft operation.
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
