A Senior Analyst, GT Technology Management is a Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) and a Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) support specialist. Familiar with both export and import regulations. The position requires both an understanding of the products and knowledge of the regulations surrounding their export and import.


Primary Responsibilities:

Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and HTS
Perform JC classifications.
Perform HTS classifications.
Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures.
Administrative support of the ERP and classification repositories.
Support Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) and Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) to government agencies.
Support Senior classifiers, metrics, and process improvements.


Basic Qualifications:

University degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Citizen


Preferred Qualifications:

BS/MS Engineering or Business Administration
Engineering and/or technical background
Aerospace (program/technical) experience
Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS
Experience with US Export (classification) Regulations; specifically the EAR and the Commerce Control List (CCL), ITAR and the United States Munitions List (USML)
1 to 2 years working with GT and related export/HTS classification matters
Experience with current trade compliance related processes (classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, record keeping, etc.) and Collins specific GT related systems (GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) is a plus
