[NDT/NDE Technician] Cast NDT RT Technicians

Riley Power Group is currently hiring for NDT Level II Radiographers for a 9 plus month assignment.

Pay rate: $75.00 per hour
Per Diem: 178.00 per day
Travel: GSA Mileage

Background check and drug screen required.


Job Summary:

Riley Power Group is seeking experienced Level II RT Technicians with casting inspection expertise to perform digital radiographic inspections in accordance with customer and industry standards. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting aerospace castings using X-ray Tube Radiography and Digital Radiography (DR). Technicians will be responsible for ensuring conformance to strict aerospace quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret radiographic inspections on aerospace castings using X-ray tube systems and direct digital radiography (DR).
Ensure compliance with customer-specific acceptance criteria.
Follow requirements from industry standards, including:
NAS 410
TCIA specifications

Document, evaluate, and report findings per client RT procedures.
Support training, mentoring, and potential OJT for junior personnel if requested.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to internal and regulatory safety policies.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years documented experience as an RT Level II technician.
Casting inspection experience is mandatory. (Welding-only experience is not acceptable.)
Must meet all vision requirements per NAS 410 (validated before deployment).
Experience using:
X-ray Tube Radiography (Primary method)
Digital Radiography (DR) – required for both sites
Ability to interpret aerospace casting radiographs with high precision.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required due to ITAR or DoD regulations (site-specific).

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior approval by aerospace clients.
Experience working in production aerospace environments.
Familiarity with DR systems and MSV inspection machines.
Current ASNT or NAS-410 compliant certifications (preferred but not required – exams will be conducted onsite).
