Job Description

Join our team as a Structures Technician, where you will engage in performing large-scale structural modifications and conversions on regional aircraft within a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. Your expertise in handling close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation on critical support structures will be crucial to our operations.

Responsibilities
* Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas.
* Locate blind holes necessary for installation of new structural items to existing structures.
* Engage in efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure according to standard repair processes.
* Demonstrate capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements for structural modification/repair.
* Proficiently access and manipulate computer systems daily for work instructions, drawings, and training.
* Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.
* Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.

Essential Skills
* Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
* Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair.
* Ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Must have S License (preferred) or substantial (10+ years) of structures experience.
* Candidate must be able to provide their own tools.
* Experience in airframe, troubleshooting, and line maintenance is an asset.
