Controls & Instrumentation Technician – Aerospace Infrastructure Project

$50.00/Hour
Per Diem:
$145/Day for Qualified Travelers
No Florida State Income Tax
Schedule:
Current project schedule is anticipated to include 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week. Day and night shift opportunities available.

Strategic Partner Solutions is seeking experienced Controls & Instrumentation Technicians to support a major aerospace infrastructure project on Florida's Space Coast.
This project involves low-voltage controls wiring, instrumentation systems, end-device terminations, control panel installations, testing, commissioning support, and infrastructure improvements at a secure aerospace facility.
We are seeking candidates with experience in aerospace, power generation, manufacturing, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, military, and other heavy industrial environments.
Scope of Work:
• Install and terminate low-voltage controls wiring
• Install and wire PLC cabinets and control panels
• Perform instrumentation wiring and device terminations
• Install sensors, transmitters, RTDs, thermocouples, and field devices
• Perform end-device terminations
• Install and terminate motor controls and VFD systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, loop drawings, and control diagrams
• Perform startup, testing, commissioning, loop checks, and troubleshooting
• Support industrial automation and controls systems
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements

Minimum Requirements:
• 4+ Years Industrial Controls, Instrumentation, or Electrical Experience
• Ability to Read Electrical and Control Schematics
• OSHA 10 Preferred
• Ability to Pass Background Screening and Drug Testing
• Reliable Transportation
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
Preferred Certifications:
• OSHA 10 / OSHA 30
• NFPA 70E
• NCCER
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
• Instrumentation Certifications
• State Journeyman Electrician License
Additional Project Information:
We are actively identifying and qualifying candidates with experience in Class I Division 2 environments, hazardous-location installations, industrial controls, instrumentation systems, low-voltage controls wiring, and end-device terminations.
