PMQS – Project Quality Management Quality Services is hiring experienced Pipe Welders for a long-term opportunity in Goose Creek, South Carolina.

Pay Rate: $50/hour
Per Diem: $120/day for qualified non-local candidates
Location: Goose Creek, SC
Duration: 6+ years
Drug Test & Background Check: Required

Position Description

This position is specifically for PIPE WELDING.

Pipe Welders will perform welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using various welding metals and metal alloys.

Candidates will determine layouts and weld parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities may also include monitoring and verifying weld quality.

Testing Requirements

All tests are on 3½-inch pipe:

• Carbon Steel with Backing Ring
• Carbon Steel with Consumable Insert
• Stainless Steel with Consumable Insert
• Copper-Nickel (CuNi) with Consumable Insert

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of additional education and/or related experience

OR

• Apprenticeship graduate/Associate’s Degree in a relevant discipline with 3 years of related experience
• Certification may be required
