Pay: $22.48–$27.31/hour
Per Diem: $110/day

PMQS – Project Quality Management Quality Services is seeking experienced Riggers for a long-term shipyard opportunity.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of heavy rigging experience
Experience with chain hoists (1–40 tons), shackles, wire rope, and rigging gear
Knowledge of weight calculations and center of gravity
Experience moving heavy steel, piping, machinery, and equipment
Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Able to lift 40 lbs.
Must pass Physical Agility Test and respirator fit test
Must pass background check and drug test
U.S. Citizenship required
Must be able to complete the DBIDS process
REAL ID + Birth Certificate OR REAL ID + Passport required
Must be available for assigned shifts
Candidates will initially work in Newport News, VA and later transfer to Norfolk, VA.
