PMQS IS HIRING DECK ELECTRICIANS – $17.34–$27.31/HR + $120/DAY PER DIEM – NEWPORT NEWS, VA

Job Duration: 2 Years

PMQS – Project Management Quality Services is seeking experienced Deck Electricians for opportunities in Newport News, Virginia.

Experience Required:
3+ years of electrical experience in Industrial, Marine, or Commercial Nuclear applications.

Required Skills:
- Read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, schematics, and work packages
- Use electrical meters and test instruments
- Install and mount electrical equipment and wireways
- Install cable penetrations, cable, and terminations
- Perform electrical cut-in and hook-up
- Use standard electrician hand tools and crimping tools
- Able to climb ladders, crawl, bend, stoop, work at heights, and work in confined spaces
- Must pass NNS Stud Shooting Training and associated vision test

Additional Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Background Check Required
- Hair Follicle Drug Test Required
- Must meet required respirator, confined-space, fall-protection, PPE, safety, and medical-clearance requirements
