PMQS IS HIRING RIGGERS – $17.34–$27.31/HR + $120+/DAY PER DIEM – NEWPORT NEWS, VA

PMQS – Project Management Quality Services is seeking experienced Riggers for long-term opportunities.

Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of heavy rigging experience
- Experience working with chain hoists from 1–40 tons
- Wire rope lashing
- Weight and center-of-gravity calculations
- Chain hoists, shackles, and wire ropes
- Rigging knots, rope/wire-rope splicing, reeving, and seizing
- Rigging loads from crane hooks to other rigging points
- Familiarity with OSHA shipbuilding regulations

Physical & Job Requirements:
- Able to work at extreme heights and in confined spaces
- Able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must pass respirator fit testing
- Must pass a Physical Agility Test
- Must be available for assigned shifts based on production needs
- Must be able to report to Norfolk Naval based on client needs
- Must be able to complete the DBIDS application process
- Must possess a Real ID or Passport
