This is a 6 month contract position located in Knoxville, TN. Please send me your resume in word format.

This is for a nuclear plant.

PROVIDES SYSTEM CONFIGURATION SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE FOR BENEFITS SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES, INCLUDING PROVIDING SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE FOR SETUP, TESTING SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITY, REPORT ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES.
ANALYZES AND TAKES APPROPRIATE ACTION TO RESOLVE SYSTEM RELATED ISSUES OR TO COMPLETE REQUIRED GOVERNMENTAL REPORTING. RECOMMENDS CORRECTIVE ACTION.
PROVIDES BENEFITS EXPERT KNOWLEDGE AND MAKES DECISIONS WHICH MAY HAVE SIGNIFICANT IMPACT IN RESPONSE TO BENEFITS-RELATED CUSTOMER INQUIRIES AND ISSUES, INCLUDING RESOLUTION OF ISSUES, REFERRAL TO SELF-SERVICE APPLICATIONS AND DECISION MAKING TOOLS/RESOURCES AND FUNCTIONS AS A LIAISON WITH BENEFIT PLAN ADMINISTRATORS/VENDORS TO RESOLVE ELIGIBILITY, COVERAGE, AND/OR CLAIM ADJUDICATION ISSUES.
MAINTAINS AND ENSURES INTEGRITY OF BENEFITS DATA.
ANALYZES ISSUES TO IDENTIFY TRENDS AND DETERMINE ROOT CAUSE OF RECURRING ISSUES. RECOMMENDS CORRECTIVE ACTION.
MAINTAINS THE NON-OWNER DESIGNATED PORTIONS OF THE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS WEBSITE. WORKS WITH PAGE OWNERS REGARDING ANY WEBSITE ISSUES, SPECIAL REQUESTS, ETC. COORDINATES UPDATES AND/OR UPGRADES.
DOCUMENTS AND MAINTAINS ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES FOR BENEFIT PROCESSES.
ASSISTS WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND REVIEW OF BENEFITS TRAINING AND COMMUNICATIONS FOR INTERNAL TEAMS AS WELL AS MEMBER USE.
ASSISTS WITH PROJECTS INVOLVING BENEFITS DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION, BENEFITS REPORTS ANALYSIS, COMPLETION OF BENEFITS-RELATED SURVEYS AND OBTAINING PERTINENT BENEFITS-RELATED DATA.

Education — BS degree in human resources, business or a related field of study; or equivalent education, training and experience.
Experience — 2-5 years experience in human resources or benefits administration; PeopleSoft benefits module or similar system experience is highly desirable.
Certification/License, etc — NA
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities — Working knowledge of information/data management systems involving information storage and retrieval is critical. Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communications skills—verbal and written; effective interpersonal skills to work with a variety of benefit participants and external parties in constructive and professional exchanges. Teamwork is essential.
