Design, implement, and maintain modern responsive web application user interfaces that adhere to and leverage a Service Oriented Architecture infrastructure, often in collaboration with other team members.
b. Ensure applications and operations are ready and able to be effectively monitored using automated methods.
c. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to the team’s applications.
d. Serve as a resource for team members for technology questions and best practices.
e. Develop and execute project plans with measurable milestones.
f. Other development duties as required.
2. Conduct of Work and Procedure Adherence
a. Utilize SRNS IT Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guides such as software, configuration, and project management policies.
3. Business Analysis
a. Understand customer priorities and objectives and take an active role in accomplishing these objectives.
b. Analyze business and technical requirements and design solutions that meet those needs while conforming to enterprise architecture standards.
4. Participation in other ITS groups
a. Review ITS Morning Meeting results and upcoming changes with the goal of knowing what is going into production and what could cause problems. Identify possible problem areas or communication needs.
a. Actively manage and improve customer relationships through regular communications, timely completion of agreed-upon milestones, and service reliability.
b. Keep customers informed of global problems, problem progress, scheduled downtime, or anything that affects their system(s).
c. Transmit feedback from customers to other ITS areas or management.
d. Keep peers and manager informed of trends, significant problems, unexpected delays, and anything new in the environment.
Position requires a 4-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with 2 years proven performance in related assignment(s); or a non-related 4 year degree with 4 years proven performance in related assignment(s); or a 2 year degree with 6 years proven performance in related assignment(s). In lieu of degree, a high school diploma and at least 5-7 additional years of relevant information technology experience is acceptable. Qualification Required
The ability to learn technical product information quickly and accurately.
2 years’ experience (4 years, if no degree) in developing web based applications using:
