Job Description:



On a day to day basis, agents will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from clients who are wanting to redeem their travel rewards points by booking travel reservations. Agents will handle an average of about 75-100 calls per shift. During each call, agents will search, book and confirm reservations. The goal of each call is to book the most cost effective travel. Agents will be responsible for meeting specific performance metrics.

This position requires extensive training over several weeks. With the large amount of information given, weekly assessments will be administered to ensure agent progress. After the initial training period, candidates must be very flexible with their availability to work.





Work Environment:



A leading travel company currently seeking reservation agents to book travel reservations in a call center environment.







Qualifications:



2-3 years customer service experience
call center experience a plus
retail customer service as well
Great communication skills
Reference that speaks to their attendance





Performance Expectations:



Pick up on training through the 6 week period
Up sell for additional services
Open to hours.
Training Monday to Friday 11am to 730pm then will be a bid process for 8 hour shift after 6 weeks. The call center is open from 7am to Midnight - 7 days a week
