They will spend a couple weeks making sure the settings are tailored to what the client wants, and then go on site to do training with the Utility. These trainings are usually less than 5 people in a class. Members of the Mapping Implementation team also are responsible for being experts on the mapping product. They should be proficient in base ESRI, and have a strong understanding of what that software provides as well as how the client enhances those features.

Data Conversion Applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

This would require working directly in SQL Server to update fields, as well as working inside of ArcMap or ArcCatalog. This work could range from writing in-depth queries to update a large amount of data at once, to zooming around in a map and manually dragging points together for hundreds of records. Being able to look at unfamiliar datasets and make sense of what the data means, and where that data should end up in the clients Model will be very important. Having a strong understanding of an Electric Utility Model would be very beneficial but not required. This person needs to be able to work independently and be able to think on their feet and come up with solutions on the fly.
