The Web Designer – Social Media Coordinator will utilize both technical and creative skills in the design, layout and development of responsive websites, navigation, pages, and applications. This position will employ industry standard development tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Drupal 8/9 CMS, TWIG and CSS Development tools and will work with back-end programmers to Integrate client interface and data feeds into websites. All designs will be optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility. The Web Designer – Social Media Coordinator will conduct website testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices. Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet. This position also handles planning, designing, and deploying social media campaigns across major social media outlets including but not limited to: Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, YouTube.
Other duties as assigned to ensure timely project execution.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
AS in Web Design, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or similar discipline.
Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must fully understand the requirements of 508 compliance as all sites are required to be 508 complaint.
2 years of hands-on experience.
Responsible for the design, layout, development and testing of all aspects of multiple large-scale websites.
Work with clients to develop engaging and responsive web sites that meet the needs of the organization.
Required to meet with clients to plan, develop and execute social media campaigns across multiple social media outlets.
BS in Computer Science, Graphic Design or equivalent, is preferred.
This position is required to work on a federal facility and as such must comply with FAR 52.223-99, Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors. As such this position is required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement.

Physical and Mental Demands:
This position may involve routine lifting of up to 10 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling, and carrying.
Constant use of vision and mental alertness is required.
Operates in an office environment currently work from home.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Conditions of Employment:
Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-placement physical examination and medical history check.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and have a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).

Hours of Work:
This is typically an 8 hour per day daylight schedule.
