Job Title: Senior QA/Automation Engineer
Location: New Orleans, LA
Duration: 6 Months
Pay: $103/hour nonexempt
Our client has a need for a Senior QA/Automation Engineer. If you have the background we are looking for, and you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading company, we want to talk with you!
Collaborate with developers, product owners and business analyst through the development process to release functional, performant and secure applications regularly.
Execute manual and automation tests for both web and mobile applications.
Plan test efforts and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases).
Participate in testing new features and integrations as part of the feature crew.
Contribute to our automation framework and our automation scripts database.
Find and report defects in the Jira issue tracking system.
Review and help troubleshoot customer reported defects.
Drive quality standards and constantly improve testing processes.
Partner and collaborate with a variety of teams in Product, UX, Support and Services departments.
Extensively test new features before release to ensure they meet KSL’s high-quality standards.
Position is remote with the possibility of some travel to the site. Candidates should be local to New Orleans.
Required Education and Experience
B.S. in Computer Science (or a related field), or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience testing SaaS software.
3+ years of hands-on experience creating and maintaining test automation suites.
Experience: AWS, CI/CD tools, React, SQL, Salesforce, CRM, Docker.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and Agile processes.
Experience with industry-leading test automation tools such as Selenium, TestCafe, and WebDriverio.
Experience in Linux/Unix command line interface and Git.
Experience testing SSO, Authentication and Authorization flows (Role based security).
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
