[IT/Communications Manager] Project Support Analyst

Project Support Analyst will support the delivery of Projects and Programs in IT Solution Plan and Delivery organization Enterprise Portfolio. The deliverables and performance standards associated with each task identified below are further defined in Deliverables Section. The Project Support Analyst will work in direct coordination with the SCE IT Plan and Delivery Manager to provide Services. The Project Support Analyst will also work in conjunction the Delivery Manager and Project Team to provide integrated management of activities related to complex projects. The Project Support Analyst is expected to perform the following tasks.

Responsibilities
The Project Support Analyst shall perform services that include, but are not limited to, developing, maintaining, updating, and administering project management toolsets and project artifacts such as the Project Charter, Pre- DDI Project Management Plan (“PMP”), the Project Schedule, and any special reports. The Project Support Analyst shall also provide ongoing project management services identifying improvement activities for current project management processes, methods, tools, and templates.

UMT updates

Keep Project/Program Site updated in UMT, included but not limited to: project schedule; cost tracking; RAID log; Status report.
Assist to keep the project library updated.
With DM supervision, assist with monthly financials milestones (submit cost actuals, update forecast if needed, provide variance explanation on Outlook file).
Assist to create Change Requests to update Schedule and Finances with PMO team.

SAP

Run CJI3 reports to assist with cost tracking.
Assist with W/O management (open, update and close it – upon DM instructions)

General Tasks:

Start and update project Standard Financial Report (aka Loading Sheet)
Onboarding for Supplemental workers and SCE environment access
Process Change Requests
Process IGAM and Remedy tickets
Assist with STPS Gates Tasks
Meetings Support (scheduling and notes)
Set up Octane space and grant user access.
Assist to keep PMO dashboards updated and reflecting project correct status.
Generate BCA report on PowerBI and collect signatures.

Qualifications
Work Experiences: Five (5) Years of experience in IT environment
Experience utilizing, developing, validating, and presenting financial statistics and models.
Experience using MS office applications for financial analysis, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using Project Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SAFe, CIDLC, SDLC, Waterfall

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, , or similar field.
Certificate and/or Licenses: PMP (Project Management Professional), or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
Experience with forecasting and performing cost/benefit and trend analyses.
Experience building reports and ability to track, analyze and maintain the accuracy and integrity of large amounts of data using Excel, SAP, Access, SQL, Power BI and/or databases.

Salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000.  The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.

This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
