Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Developer 4 (ServiceNow Enterprise Consultant Architect) opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).


Per diem for those who qualify

Work Location: 100% remote.
Work Schedule: 9/80’s, potential OT
Organization/Group: SAE-3 (9V030A)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain “Q.”
Positions Available: 1

Education:
Master’s degree in engineering, Science or Business Management related to Project Management. Twelve (12 years) of directly applicable experience in specialized technical field and is acknowledged as an expert in the specific area in question.

Experience
Minimum of 10 years of ServiceNow implementation and operation experiences in one or more of the following products – ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and ITBM.
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise level implementation strategy and roadmaps

Top 3 desired Technical Skills
Experience scaling the ServiceNow Platform
Experience in ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and ITBM.
Strategic platform experience

Summary:
Supports software applications and systems by investigating, designing, documenting and implementing new hardware and software. Works with customers and end users to understand requirements, coordinate resources, monitor timeline, and plan, track, and execute project plan. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates work processes. Prepares concepts for information system solutions and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of these concepts.

Has broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of technical objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Develops and/or implements advanced concepts, techniques, and standards based on professional principles and theories. Considered an expert in the field. Works on unusually significant, unique or complex issues, provides solutions that are highly creative and where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Has impact on success of future concepts, products or technologies. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets. Assignments are often self-initiated and virtually self-supervisory. Provides technical direction and/or coordinates activities of other personnel. Uses independent judgment for determining course of action to accomplish objectives. Uses wide latitude in the methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

The ServiceNow Enterprise Consultant Architect is knowledgeable in developing and strategy and roadmap for deploying the ServiceNow Platform at an enterprise level. Expert knowledge for implementing and scaling ServiceNow Products and Custom Application capabilities will be required.

Based on extensive knowledge of this platform, the person in this role will be able to:
Provide thought leadership and collaborate in a consulting role with the internal ServiceNow Architect and Platform team, to establish an Enterprise level strategy and roadmap for integration of the ServiceNow Platform into our current and future technology landscape
Understand the business needs of our customers and articulate how ServiceNow can enable and deliver value to our organization, contributing to strategic direction decisions with our customers and stakeholders
Understand the detail behind the ServiceNow and platform of platforms architecture and how it can be used to provide enterprise level IT and custom solutions
Identify, lead and contribute to the creation of best practices, white papers, workshops, etc.
