Support CH2M's facility projects for United States Postal Service and have a hand in transforming tomorrowAs an Electrical Engineer for Facilities Projects you will perform a variety of electrical engineering design functions from cradle to grave of a typical project including the following tasks: survey/assess existing facility and master planning, scoping and estimating level of engineering effort; field work to assess existing conditions; report writing; conceptual design; review of design development of drawings, specifications, and calculation analyses; assistance with cost estimating; and services during bidding and construction, including answering requests for information, bid review, shop drawing review, site visits during construction, commissioning support, hosting progress meetings, and project closeout.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:BS or MS-Electrical Engineering from an ABET-certified institution
10-20 years of experience (design of facility electrical systems)
PE license in NY or NJ
Citizen of United States
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Knowledge of broad range of HVAC and other electrical systems is required
Experience must include design of numerous building system projects, including HVAC, controls, and fire protection systems.
Ability to independently produce sizing and energy calculations and other analyses and reports is required.
Knowledge of and experience in applying New York City and New York State building codes is required.
Experience in providing construction support or services during construction is required.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to perform extensive field walking tours outdoors and indoors in utility-type spaces.
