Position Summary: Jorgensen has an immediate opening for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician in support of corporate owned/leased properties in Fort Mill, South Carolina. We desire an individual with a high degree of focus on customer service, practical computer skills, excellent at problem solving, strong technical skills and aptitude for facilities maintenance including electrical, mechanical, and general building trouble-shooting, diagnosing, and repair; along with executing preventive maintenance (PM) activities and including oversight of subcontracted services as required.Must be customer service oriented, be a self starter, have professional manner, be able to make informed decisions, and have a willingness to learn.
Minimum 4 years related experience
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Ability to interface with customers (communications, problem solving, work prioritization & scheduling)
Electrical skills (changing ballasts, lights and minor electrical and troubleshooting)
Familiarity with UPS / Emergency Generator and Fire / Life / Safety Systems and Central Plan operations including chiller, cooling tower and boiler systems
HVAC / CRAC Units (PM, system monitoring, knowledge & familiarization)
Plumbing skills (minor restroom repair of toilets, sinks, and fixtures)
Building skills (doors & hardware, work station & hardware, bulletin boards, etc)
Meeting setup skills (arranging chairs/tables, AV equipment setup)
Painting skills (for touch-ups and misc)
Computer skills (email, scheduling, maintenance management, work order & PM's)
Reliability and flexibility
Ability to speak and understand English well
High School Diploma or GED
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. Criminal record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Practical work experience preferably in a Corporate Campus environment
Exhibit strong customer service skills and a strong work ethic
Self-starter with a professional manner
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
Neat, clean and presentable appearance
Based on experience and background
