[Laborer] Hydro Blasters - PER DIEM

Entry Level Technicians needed to clean pipes kind of like hydro-blasting, except they’re low pressure (300-600PSI) water. Most of their work is on heat exchangers, and can range from 50 total tubes, to several 100K heat exchangers on a single nuke plant. Tubes range from ˝” to 1-1/2”.


Projects will vary from a day or two, or several weeks. Most employees will stay steadily busy, but may occasionally have a few days or a week off between projects. Candidates should look at this opportunity as full-time, and most will have an opportunity to go full time with full benefits after a few months. Work will be steady until Mid-December, and then they’ll have about a month off before starting back up in early Feb again through May.


Pay starts at $14.00 / hour, and goes up to $15.00 on the next Monday following 10 working days on site. Per Diem is a shared hotel room, plus $40.00 per day (usually paid in cash every few days).


They have 4 basic levels of employees where they can be promoted through: Entry Level Technician; Technician; Lead Technician; and Supervisor.

Qualification / Requirements:

GED or HS Diploma
NO Felonies
Any Misdemeanors must be closed out (no open cases)
Physically fit, and able to fit through small openings (as small as 20 inches)
Not afraid of confined spaces
Strong work ethic
Willing to travel all over the country for outage season (flights, hotel rooms, etc.)
Must pass a Hair Follicle drug test, and submit to a random testing program.

(Conco invests over $2K in training each employee before they’re mobilized to a project).
