The Tool Install Structural Engineer will perform a variety of engineering work for a state of the art semiconductor manufacturer’s Tool Install program.
Will work in a leadership role as part of a team of Structural Engineers and Structural Designers in the development of design packages to support the Tool Install program.
Interact directly with the client, other disciplines, and contractors in all phases of design; construction-phase services are limited to RFI responses.
Coordinate with, and provide guidance to, third-party engineers for dynamic analysis of vibration-sensitive tools.
Will develop design concepts, complete the analysis and design, and work with the Designers to communicate our structural requirements on paper.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
Professional Engineer License (PE), or ability to obtain within 60 days
6 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering
Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
Experience in Semi-conductor industrial or general industrial facilities
Tool Install experience need strong communication and interpersonal skills
Possesses excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
